Renewed Strength

My favorite verse in the whole bible is probably Isaiah 40:28-31.  to me this one section sums up all of the Bible. Its covers the creation "The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth", the fall of man "And the young men shall utterly fall", and finally the redemption "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength".  I would like to take each part of this verse and tell you what it means to me.  Everyday this week i will leave a comment on this post explaining my view on each part of the verse.  i would love to hear what yall think as well.  again don't be afraid to use the Anonymous name tag.

Hope you had a good Halloween.
love yall,

  1. Verse 28a
"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth"

Look around you. Gods beauty is everywhere. How could a world like this come into existence without Gods hand? I find this to be a simple reminder that we were all made by God. He created everything, including us.

  2. Verse 28b
"Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable."

God is constantly there. There is nothing that can take Him away from us. He will never stop loving us and He understands what we are going through. God knows exactly how to deal with each problem we face, if only we will turn to Him. He understands our problems and wants to be the first person we turn to in times of need.

  3. Verse 29
"He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might He increases strength."

God will use our weaknesses to His advantage. He will take where we are weak and there He will show His awesome glory. It is when we have nothing left to give, when we are completely worn down, then He will show us who He is. We are weak, but God is strong.

  4. Verse 30
"Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall,"

Even those of us who are in great physical shape can still get hurt or sick. Same goes for our faith. Even those of us who are young and full of energy for God, those of us who are in great spiritual condition, will become weary and fall. On our own there is nothing we can do about it. We will slip up, we will stumble.(don't get discouraged yet there is still one more verse)

  5. Verse 31
"but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

when we turn to God, instead of this world, for help we shall be strengthened. God will lift us up to the highest heights if we will let Him. He shall give us the strength to continue.
