Chrysalis

Hey I just got back from the most amazing experience of my life!!!!!

This weekend I went to a thing called Chrysalis!!! It was life changing!! A three day get away that will change you from a caterpillar to a butterfly and is a once in a lifetime thing. On the first day you are a caterpillar then you go into a cocoon and finally on the last day you emerge as a butterfly!
I would highly recommend that you attend a Chrysalis event!! I promise you will not come back the same. If you want to attend here is their homepage http://www.upperroom.org/Chrysalis/
Check it out (i dont know where to go to find an event near you) and go get changed into a beautiful butterfly!!!

God Bless the USA

July 4, 2009

I hope we all remember to stop and actually think
about today and what it means, rather than just run out
and pop smoke bombs, poppers, and rockets. Today is filled with mixed feelings for many people. For veterans, they might be thinking about the
significance of today and their service to our great country. To us, we should
remember that our flag still stands for freedom. We sould always respect
our country and flag, and our officials, and not only today but ever
day we sould pray for our officials, the president, vice president, mayor, and other important government figures.
Stop and Remember
9/11 and Signing the Declaration of independence, and the
freedoms that you enjoy every day that many have died to give
you thank our veterans and remember we live in God's
country.
God Bless the USA !

Nothing God Can't Handle

Sometimes its amazing what prayer can do. We hear about people miraculously healed or living through things they shouldn't. What we don't hear about are the little things that prayer does. Things like finding something that's been lost or showing which turn to take in a strange town. We think that He may be to busy to help with these things. The truth is He can always make time for you and He always will. Other times we think that our problems are to small for Him to bother with or that we can handle it on our own. Even though the problem seems small and easy it often isn't. We tend to go through a lot of trouble when God could easily have done it. There's nothing God cant or won't handle all we have to do is get on our knees and ask.

If you have any thoughts on this please feel free to comment.

Ask and it will be given to you
Seek and you will find
Knock and the door will be opened to you
For everyone who asks receives
And he who seek finds
And to him who knocks it will be opened

Lots of these songs are played on Air1 and Klove

Nothing we cant handle

The first thing you think in the morning is that your not going to get mad at your brother today. Of course today he turns out to be triple annoying, you hold through till lunch then you just cant take it anymore. you give up, give in . the same thing happens again the next day, and the next, and the next. finnally you just give up. You cant hold through, it just gets worse everyday. why even try?

How often do we do this with God? we say we'll do it, and we do but we cant keep it up. in the end we get so tired of failling we give up all together. God says He will never give us something we cant handle. that means there has to be a way to work through it but how?

Do you know of any ways to push through?
any thoughts are welcome
